Why we made this
Our kitchen area was already looking sharp, but the worktop itself felt a little tight for everyday use. We wanted more usable space to prep food and set things down — without it looking like an aftermarket add-on bolted onto a factory interior.
So we designed a worktop extension that sits flush with the existing surface, matching the Westfalia finish closely enough that it looks like it was always part of the van. It also quietly lays the groundwork for a future project we're working on.
