Why we made this
About a year ago, we fitted a bamboo sink cover in our own van. It looked great and really finished off the kitchen area — until small spots of black mould started appearing after a few months. We tried several cleaning methods, but the damage was impossible to remove.
So we designed a replacement ourselves, using 3D design software and our second printer — the newest addition to our print farm. The design features a wind-rose motif, giving it a distinctive nautical theme while maintaining good airflow and hygiene around the sink.
Version 2 turned out to be the final version — the one shown here — and it's completely eliminated our concerns about mould or bacteria.
